Would you consider using or learning how to use a scorecard? You can better recreate the action and flow of a game by reading a scorecard rather than a boxscore. With a scorecard we could remember the details of every play. I was wondering if using scorecards, as an option, has ever been considered for the computer version of Strat-O-Matic baseball?

I don't use the computer game so I don't think I can answer but definitely the use of a scorecard during dice play does help in recaps. Is that what you are asking, just want to make sure I understand your post? Thanks.
Yes overall, I wanted to know if people would use a scorecard or find that it increases their enjoyment of the game.

Hi Terry, I find a scorecard increases my enjoyment greatly. For those classic and memorable games, I find myself going back to the old scorecards often. Also, from an analysis perspective, reviewing the scorecards is easier to determine lefty/righty performance, inherited runners scored, etc. So, while boxscores are great, scorecards provide more depth, which adds a lot to the game.
Thanks Terry, yes I keep many scorecards but had to purge many as well since they take up a lot of space. Any game that stands out I keep but many others I throw away now to save space, I mean recycle, recycle, recycle. Also nice to see #6 Johnny Grubb of the Rangers and #1 and #2 of the Padres check in....
Hi Terry!
Love the scorecard here as well.....just great t'have the hist'ry there anytime I wanna go back and look at an old play by play.

I'm definitely in the scoresheet class. I love having them collected in binders, all hand-written (some messier than others...), and I'm goofy/sentimental enough to think my son will treasure them after I'm gone.
I'm gonna burn for this, but one of these days, I'll have to kill a(nother) small forest and print out all my replay summaries, too.
