Team,
Several us have the set, ordered the set, or will order the set. Clearly, this is one project we all seem to find common interest in. Are there any possibilities out there where all of us can work on a mutual project together with the NL set?
Back in the day we all remember "Play by mail". One of our hobby peers has a common site that allows for play provided people have the same cards, I'm sure there are other options.
Let's say for example I take the 108 players and create three or four solid teams if possible and create a schedule for XXXX amount games.
Could four of us play home games for one of the teams, and four of us road games or something like that.
I'm not saying I would be the one to create this, I would gladly partake in anything you guys might start.
Or perhaps we each can emulate the others project and compare results, I'm sure there are tons of options.
I just wanted to throw this out there to see if it is even feasible. If there are no takers that is not a problem, thoughts? Comments? Please direct all positive feedback to me, please direct all negative feedback to seajaws email

Hiya Chisox!
Would love an oldtime PBM deal!....haven't been in one in close t'30 years!
W/L ain't important here, just the playin' of the games, and, bein' a team!
Also, the only drawback for me would be if the instructions're too tedious
to follow.
Just wanna rollem! So, if it's a loosie goosie pastime, you can most definitely
count me in!
Hope they arrive t'day!

Jim, I am all for simplicity as well thanks for the interest. We will come up with something. I'll put $25 on the pass line, oh wrong set up dice, forgot!
Hiya Chi!
Cards arrived yesterday! All set t'go!
Thanks!

A "Super League" incorporating the HOF set would not be a bad idea maybe.
Whattya think, Chi??

Repeated myself!!..get'n old....older!!hahaha!!!

A thought occurs to me that you could have 4 people in the league. 2 would play each teams home games and the other two would play all the road games. Since nobody would have a team of their own nobody would fall farther behind and lose interest. Just a thought.......
Mrpuna, I definitely agree I had raised that in the original post, the more the merrier.
I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Slim Jones. Jones, a lefty hurler, has stats of 12-6 with a 2.15 ERA. And Chino Smith, who kills righties but is even better against lefties. Lots and lots of great players in this set. I'm thinking of getting my HOF league back together with the Negro Leaguers mixed in with every team. No more segregation in my league!!!
