Gentlemen,

We need to decide on what season we want to use the start the inaugural league.  The general feeling is between 1964 and 1971.  There are pros and cons to each season.  Playing 1964 would allow us to follow a more sequential order of things as we complete each season, meaning we could then move from '64 to '65 to '66, and so forth.  The down side, if there is one, is that those particular seasons are very pitching-oriented, with 1967 in particular being just very low on run-scoring.  1971 looks like lots of fun, but the next season, if we chose to be squential, is 1973, but it really depends on you guys.  I think 1964 would be a fun season to work with.

What do you think?

Matt

If you're still thinking about it, I like 1964 a lot. Good pennant races; I'm not sure '73 is THAT much better for hitting, thought it has the dh in the American.
